SCHOOL RULES & REGULATIONS

GENERAL

  • Students may only use school telephones in emergencies and with the prior permission of their Head of School. (leaving work at home, or making social arrangements, are not considered emergencies).
  • Students may not bring mobile telephones, radios personal stereos, electronic games or playing cards to school. If found such articles will be confiscated and returned at a suitable time.
  • Publicizing any event, selling tickets or collecting money for any activity of any kind, requires the prior approval of the Principal.
  • The school accepts no responsibility for any students’ property lost at school. The school strongly advises parents not to allow their children to bring large sums of money or valuables to school.
  • Lost property: Any item of lost property found around the school, or on the buses, is handed in to the appropriate school office. Items of lost property are regularly displayed in school and if not claimed are donated to charity. Students and their parents are asked to assist the school in dealing with this problem by clearly marking all items of clothing, books, etc... With the student’s Name /Class /Section.
  • Cleanliness of the school Campus: students will be required to clean up any litter or split food and beverages for which they are responsible. All students in a group responsible for litter may be required to clean up.
  • Prefects may be appointed by a Head of school and given duties and responsibilities appropriate to their age. In their areas of responsibility prefects have the authority of the head of school and must be obeyed accordingly. A prefect ‘on duty’ must wear his/her identification badge
  • Snacks and non fizzy drinks are sold to students at morning breaks.
  • Parents are reminded of their responsibility to keep the school informed of any change in their contact email, telephone or postal address.
